About Heather
Heather's counseling services
Heather's experience of more than eighteen years as a therapist enables her to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. She treats a number of mental health disorders with a specific interest in helping those wishing to heal around grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, ADHD, chronic and long term health issues, anger, and depression. She also offers support to those struggling with parenting strategies and can offer support for new parents of multiples. Heather has cultural competence in shamanic practices and working with the LGBTQQIA community.
Treatment Focus
Heather's focus is to take a holistic approach to treatment, addressing wellness across the mind, body, and spirit. Heather's approach is insight-oriented modalities to help clients better understand themselves and draw upon their inner wisdom and strengths. This may include coping skills development, mindfulness practices, IFS (Internal Family Systems) awareness, or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).

The spiral is a symbol that represents the way our life is always unfolding. It's the life helix that shows up in our DNA, in vines, sea shells, a curled up snake, whirlpools of water, and in our milky way galaxy. My wish is to walk this unfolding spiral in partnership with you to help you on your journey to heal. Together, we will plan next steps to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
